Announcements and Search

Stay informed with warehouse announcements, find what you need with search, and learn how to work efficiently on smaller screens.

Announcements

The Announcements page is where the warehouse posts updates that are relevant to all clients. You will find information here about policy changes, holiday schedules, new service offerings, and anything else the warehouse team wants to communicate broadly.

Viewing Announcements

When you visit the announcements page, you will see a chronological list of recent posts from the warehouse. Each announcement includes a title, date, and the full message body. Scroll through to catch up on anything you may have missed since your last visit.

Mandatory Announcements

Some announcements are marked as mandatory. When a mandatory announcement is active, it will appear as a blocking overlay on your dashboard the next time you log in. You will not be able to access the rest of the dashboard until you acknowledge the announcement by clicking through it. This mechanism is reserved for critical updates that the warehouse needs every client to see -- things like changes to receiving procedures, updated shipping label requirements, or important deadline reminders.

If you see a mandatory announcement, read it carefully before dismissing it. The information it contains is likely to affect your day-to-day workflow, and missing it could lead to delays or errors in how your shipments are processed.

Most pages across the dashboard include a local search bar that lets you filter the data displayed in that page's table. Understanding how search works will help you find specific shipments, inventory items, or requests without scrolling through long lists.

How Search Works

When you type a keyword into a search bar on any page, the dashboard filters the table rows to show only entries that match your query. The search typically checks across multiple columns -- for example, on the Inbound page, searching for a product name will match against the item name column, while searching for an order number will match against that column instead. You do not need to specify which column to search; the system checks all visible fields.

Search and Page State

It is worth knowing that search keywords interact with the current pagination and sort state of the table. When you enter a search term, the table resets to the first page of results and applies your query across the full dataset, not just the rows currently visible on screen. If you have applied column sorting before searching, the sort order is preserved within the filtered results. Clearing the search bar restores the full unfiltered table.

Keep your search terms short and specific. A single keyword like an ASIN, SKU, or order number will usually get you to the right row faster than typing out a full product name.

Mobile Usage

The dashboard is accessible from mobile devices, and certain sections have been optimized specifically for smaller screens.

Tickets on Mobile

The Tickets page includes mobile-specific rendering that switches from a side-by-side list and detail layout to a stacked list-then-detail view. On a phone, you will first see a list of your tickets. Tapping a ticket opens the full conversation thread. This makes it easy to read and reply to messages without fighting a cramped two-panel layout.

Tips for Mobile Workflows

Working on a phone or tablet is best suited for quick checks and simple actions. Here are a few guidelines to keep things smooth:

  • Keep filters minimal on small screens. Applying too many filters at once can make the interface feel crowded. Stick to one or two filters to narrow down what you need, then scroll through the results.
  • Prefer focused workflows. Rather than trying to juggle multiple tasks at once, pick one action at a time -- check a shipment status, reply to a ticket, or review a received item -- and complete it before moving on.
  • Use search instead of scrolling. On a small screen, scrolling through long tables is tedious. The search bar is your fastest path to the specific record you are looking for.

For data-heavy tasks like bulk editing inventory or uploading CSV files, a desktop or laptop will give you a much better experience. Save mobile for the quick wins and time-sensitive actions that cannot wait until you are back at a full-sized screen.
